Seven Seas and Twenty-Seven Skies
Light comes to us from sky and is gathered and saved for us in the water. It seems that the water is sometimes showing us the sky but really the sky’s light has come down into the water where the water keeps it for us. When we sleep, the water holds the stars for us. In the winter the water becomes selfish and won’t give us much light at all and it is a dark time. Then, in the spring, when the ice breaks, it starts to give us some light back. Once the water swallowed all of the light and wouldn’t give us anything! We couldn’t see and we almost died but it finally gave it back.
